![]() ![]() All in all, save your money and buy an app that does what it claims. Update: I just finished 4 days of back and forth with Final Draft customer service, and after walking me through everything I already explained was happening, they are trying to blame Dropbox and telling me to use manual push to share my files on the app (this defeating any sort of syncing feature this app claims to have.) They also seem to have failed utterly in understanding the bug that keeps you from being able to upgrade the app in the first place. With so many other options out there, a company that has been around this long has no excuse not to be doing it better. Although, no other functions are necessary for this app to do its job, some things could really be improved. Yes this app is perfectly usable for writing scripts and offers a good amount of standard functionalities(for convenience) that free apps don’t offer. This app offers a basic, usable/practical, screenwriting interface. This app doesn’t have all the color modes or much of any customization. Im considering buying a more expensive or nicer software. Is it worth $10, eh I would say $8 is really being nice. ![]() Id consider this app standard, although I haven’t tried any truly-premium softwares. You could start and finish a proper screenplay on here as well as move between the desktop and app versions. However, given that tablet computers are increasingly becoming the norm, even for some professional work, features such as collaboration and alternate dialogue would be a great addition. There are some features missing from the app compared to the computer version, which I suppose is not unreasonable since this FD version is app based. That point leads me to one of the very few complaints, or rather notes, that I could make about this app. The integration with iCloud makes it easy to pause writing with mobile and pick up on the full desktop version. Automatic formatting keeps everything up to industry standards and exporting seems to be working flawlessly. As of now, Final Draft Mobile is rather exceptional. My last review pointed out a few problems that have since been fixed. MH2797's Review of Final Draft Mobile Reviewed on 9/16/18 2:09 PM ![]()
